Dr. Wesley Francis has 12 years of experience as a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at the Princess Margaret Hospital and Doctors Hospital. He is the current Chief of Surgery at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Dr. Francis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and completed  an approved Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) Fellowship.  

Dr. Francis is an associate Lecturer with the University of the West  Indies and the Director of the Surgical Residency training program. He serves as the Director of Surgical Services at Doctors Hospital.  

Dr. Francis obtained his Medical Degree from the University of the West Indies and completed  his surgical residency at Wayne state University in Detroit Michigan. He obtained an SSO  approved fellowship from the Tom Baker Cancer Center in Calgary Alberta. Dr. Francis holds an MBA in Health Sector Management and Policy at the University of Miami in Coral Gables and is a certified lean six sigma champion.
